Oakfield-Alabama Girls Defeat HAC; Levi Miller Leads Boys’ Effort

Oakfield-Alabama hosted a dual meet with Harley Allendale Columbia (HAC) last night, earning a 53–35 win on the girls’ side while the boys fell 80–2 against a deep HAC lineup.

Freshman Levi Miller led the Oakfield-Alabama boys with strong performances in the distance freestyle events.  Competing against an experienced field, Miller showed strength in the 200 and 500 yard freestyles, gaining valuable experience and setting the tone for the program’s young core strength!

The girls relay races proved pivotal momentum for Oakfield-Alabama’s girls, who secured key points in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays. Strong starts and steady middle legs helped seal the team victory and secure 3rd for the B relay. Notable anchor splits from Senior Brooke Schramm pulling an impressive 1:03.72 and sophomore Tori Davis 59.76.

Individual swims from Senior Brooke Schramm in the 50 and 100 freestyle securing wins in both events. Sophomores Vivian Hilchey and Tori Davis locked down the 200 free, 200 IM, and 100 fly with wins for OA.

“I was really proud of how our girls stepped up in the relays and raced with confidence,” said Head Coach Macrae Haluszczak. “On the boys’ side, Levi Miller continues to show a lot of promise as a freshman. He’s not afraid to race anyone or anything, and that kind of competitiveness will pay off as the season goes on.”

Oakfield-Alabama will continue to build on this momentum as the season continues:
