Full-Time Probationary Spanish Teacher
Anticipated Opening

Oakfield-Alabama Central School District, a small rural district in Western New York, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Full-Time Probationary Spanish Teacher to join our Middle and High School faculty. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about language instruction, cultural awareness, and building meaningful connections with students in a close-knit school community.

Position Details:

  • Title: Spanish Teacher (Probationary, Full-Time)
  • Location: Oakfield-Alabama Middle/High School
  • Start Date: September 8, 2026

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State certification in Spanish (or eligibility for certification)
  • Strong instructional practices and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Spanish language instruction to middle or high school students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with NYS standards
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Participate in school initiatives and professional development opportunities

The Oakfield-Alabama Central School District, a small rural district in Western New York, is seeking a dynamic and student-centered part-time (.5) Technology / Agriculture Teacher to serve students in our Middle/High School building.

Position Overview:
This position involves delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in technology and/or agricultural education. The ideal candidate will foster student curiosity, promote problem-solving skills, and connect classroom learning to real-world applications relevant to a rural community.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and deliver instruction aligned with NYS learning standards

Building Maintenance Mechanic

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: Performs a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks of a skilled nature. Employees in this class, by reason of personal training and experience, may devote much of their time to work along several mechanical lines, as varied assignments require. In this respect, this class differs from those such as Painter, Carpenter,
Plumber, etc., in which incumbents concentrate on a single trade. Incumbents work under general supervision, with the supervision of others not normally a function of the position. Does related work, as required.
