GRAA Championship Recap – January 23, 2026 

The Genesee Region Athletic Association Swimming Championships were held Friday, January 23, at Gates-Chili, featuring a full slate of championship performances across boys and girls events. Byron-Bergen/LeRoy emerged as a dominant force on both sides of the meet, while strong individual efforts and relay performances from Pembroke-Alexander, Oakfield-Alabama/Elba, Harley-Allendale-Columbia, and others highlighted a competitive and high-energy evening. 

Oakfield-Alabama/Elba finished third overall in the girls standings with 394 points, fueled by standout individual performances and dominant relays. Tori Davis (10 grade) was exceptional, winning the 100 butterfly (1:07.13) and the 100 backstroke (1:01.23), anchoring the first-place 200 free relay (1:49.16) and 400 free relay (4:08.28), and earning Swimmer of the Meet honors.  

Vivian Hilchey (10th grade)  won the 100 freestyle with a time drop (58.69), while Sarah Pritchett (7th grade) placed second in the 200 IM (2:37.95)PR and second in the 500 freestyle (6:22.36)PR.  

Winning relays included Davis, Hilchey, Pritchett, and Brooke Schramm for both the 200 (1:49.16) and 400 (4:08.28) freestyle relays bringing home 2 new school records.  

Levi Miller (10th grade) solely represented the boys team for our OA sharks and had great performances in the 50 free placing 10th and 100 freestyle placing 7th. Levi pulled in 19 points with times of 29.64 and a PR in the 100 going a 106.10. Awesome work Levi!  

The lady sharks head into their final meet of the season GRNOs and Levi Miller to Sectionals. Let’s go Sharks!
