Varsity Swimming:  Vivian Hilchey

Vivian (sophomore) is currently ranked 2nd in the Genesee Region for girls and 2nd for Oakfield-Alabama girls Swimming, earning a PowerPoint score of 422.20. Balancing her after school sports, academics, and her love for her animals perfectly alongside a terrific season. This past Friday, she competed with grit, poise, and determination. After an unfortunate disqualification in the 200 freestyle after a solid win and PR, Vivian showed exactly how resilient she is. Resetting mentally and coming back strong. She went on to win the 100 freestyle with a 3-second season best time drop and played a huge role in winning both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays with her teammates with new school records. That’s resilience. That’s leadership. And that’s exactly OA swimming. Great work Vivian 🦈💙

Girls Basketball:  Hadley Hicks

Hadley averaged 13.3 pts, 5 rebounds and 3 steals in 3 wins for the Girls basketball team to help keep them undefeated at 11-0
